Audrain County Crisis Intervention Services serves individuals effected by domestic and sexual violence. ACCIS’s mission is to “Educate; Empower; Serve!” with our vision to “work with our communities to end domestic and sexual violence”.
Offers emergency shelter, transitional housing and legal advocacy for those effected by domestic and sexual violence in Audrain, Montgomery, Monroe, Randolph, Boone and Callaway counties. All services provided by ACCIS are free and confidential.
Every 9 seconds, a women in the US is assaulted by an intimate partner. In 2015, Audrain County alone had reported 529 domestic violence arrests along with 9 arrests for rape. As of July 2016, ACCIS had provided services for 544 women, children and men with over 8,000 hours of advocacy services and answered 334 hotline calls!
